2005 Wildsync Systems L.L.C.

WildSync Systems announced today plans to release & distribute ADR Spotter Professional, the first product to begin the process of revitalizing the Tape™ OS-9 product line (see: legacy products)

ADR Spotter Professional will be released in July of 2005 (revised from June of 2005) and is designed for use with Pro Tools® 6.7 and above. This product will feature:

  • Spotting through dictation
  • Time capture from Pro Tools cursor position (in feet and frames, time code or samples mode).
  • Multiple document support including drag 'n drop
  • Direct integration (ADR Spotter Professional is designed as a component of the Pro Tools® environment -- similar in feel to AudioSuite®)
  • Dynamic line count feedback
  • Live help system
  • EDL import for alternates & scene checking
  • Character type groupings (i.e. New York group, Los Angeles group, etc.) and event grouping by color, version or priority encoding
  • No need to breakup voice-overs across multiple cues (text fields are unlimited -- this was a limitation in our Tape for OS-9)
  • All the typical printouts: line count summary, talent script, and master line list with suppressible notes, along with a paint style window for customizing any printouts.
  • A significantly improved design over our OS-9 products

Other products planned for release later this year are a cue sheet system, a Foley spotting system and a stage control package.

"It was time to make the choice. Either bring this company into the 21st century or close it down after nine years of hard work and some wonderful successes", says CEO Rick Steele. "I chose to make the leap and rewrite this product from the ground up, because even today I still get orders for this OS 9-only software".

Tape™ is still in use at most of the major studios in Los Angeles and WildSync Systems has products in places as far away as Austrailia and Ireland. For information about beta-testing and pre-release products, please submit inquiries to devteam@wildsync.com.
